Nathan Gray – Director/ Senior Yoga Teacher/ Ayurvedic Therapist

The founder of Samballa Yoga & Holistic Health, Nathan has been practising Yoga since he was 19 and teaching Yoga since 2001. Nathan is a fully qualified and accredited Yoga Teacher with the International Yoga Alliance at the highest level, having attended multiple Yoga Teacher Trainings in a variety of Yoga disciplines. This training, with some of the worlds leading Yoga Teachers, combined with training as an Holistic Therapist specialising in Ayurveda, the sister science to Yoga, along with many years experience teaching in Norfolk, England, as well as India and a number of countries in Europe has enabled Nathan to gain a vast amount of knowledge and experience in this field, working with a wide variety of students at all levels.
For the past four years, Nathan has been spending the winter seasons in India, continuing his training to an advanced level, as well as teaching at International Yoga Center Brahmani Yoga & Raso Vai Yoga & Ayurveda.
Nathan’s style of teaching varies to suit the individual needs of his students, allowing all who attend his classes to get the most benefit form their Yoga Practice. With Training in Astanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga Flow, Iyengar Yoga and Restorative/ Yin Yoga, as well as training as a Yoga Therapist, Nathan can teach a range of classes and workshops to suit anyone of any ability, helping to create a more mobile and functional body as well as a calmer and more focused mind. Teaching in a fun and functional manner, Nathan encourages his students to become the best they can be, and be happy with where they are.
As well as teaching classes, Nathan has assisted in the training of dozens of Yoga Teachers on a number of courses, as well as continuing to teach and train his own teachers. Giving him a wealth of additional experience, which he continues to enjoy passing on through his various classes, Workshops, Retreats and Trainings.
Nathan’s aim is to bring the joys and benefits of Yoga to as many people possible, in the East Anglia area where he is based, as well as at an International level through his workshops and retreats.
Amy Paul – Yoga Teacher

Amy was trained by Nathan in 2005/2006 and continues her Yoga studies with him as well as her own studies at various trainings with a number of respected Yoga Teachers. Amy has been successfully teaching in Nathan’s absence while away in India, and together they teach a varied class schedule in Norfolk, England, while developing new projects with the rest of the Samballa Yoga Team.
Rene Gray – Assistant Yoga Teacher

Rene is currently apprenticing in Samballa Yoga Classes as a teaching assistant to gain experience whilst completing his yoga teacher
training. Working with Nathan and Amy, Rene will be serving as the Anatomy & Physiology specialist in Samballa Yoga Teacher Training
and workshops.
